An early morning search for the new sink for the downstairs cloakroom continued with a drive to neighbouring Arridippou. Three bathroom shops later and Lillian seems to be getting nearer to making a decision on what she wants and who might do the work. She always wants to 'have a think about it' before making the big decision. Not a bad strategy as she always in the end seems to make the right decision on most things. Not like me and I would have said yes to the first one we saw and have to confess not excited by sink shopping. Surprisingly there does not seem to be a huge range of sinks that are only 30cm deep. The downstairs cloakroom is certainly the smallest room in the house.
Once back it was time to potter in the garden. What do we do 'pottering' there each day for hours you might wonder when in the pictures I post all look so nice. The are struggling to keep down a very horrible weed that looks like clover. It had appeared when we return after the 'Birthday Bash' to UK and it intermingled with the roots of most plants. It is also growing up between the red shingle stones that cover the garden coming through the black liner. Lillian as ever is painstaking in trying to remove every last root, which are long and go very deep. In fact there is more to this weed under ground than showing above it.
